Marcia Ruiz

Marcia Ruiz joined CSL Seqirus Canada as Country Head, Medical Affairs, Vaccines in 2026. Marcia brings more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held Medical Affairs roles at Pfizer, AbbVie, and Bristol Myers Squibb. She holds a PhD in Experimental Medicine from McGill University and has built a career at the intersection of scientific research, medical strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

Throughout her career, Marcia has worked across Infectious Diseases, Hematology-Oncology, Immunology, and Biosimilars. She has led medical strategy, supported product launches, advanced real-world evidence generation, partnered with key opinion leaders, and generated scientific insights that inform strategic decision-making and improve patient outcomes. In addition, Marcia has built and led clinical research teams and overseen multicenter and international clinical trials.
