Andrea Scarino, Ph.D.

Andrea Scarino has led Medical Affairs at CSL Seqirus Canada since November 2025. He brings extensive pharmaceutical and Medical Affairs leadership experience across multiple therapeutic areas and strategic roles. He began his career at Teva Canada as a Medical Affairs Specialist in Neuroscience before moving to Novartis Canada, where he gained field experience as an Ophthalmology MSL and advanced through progressive leadership roles, including Medical Advisor and Medical Director. He further broadened his expertise serving a term as Market Access Director, strengthening his understanding of key business and reimbursement dynamics in the Canadian market. Most recently, Andrea served as Medical Director in Immunology and then Neuroscience & Gene Therapy, leading cross-functional teams and driving scientific and strategic initiatives. Andrea holds a PhD in Toxicology from the Université du Québec.
